Ok I have an idea to find out the favorite machine of Fruit-Emu.

Post your nominations preferably with the info for each machine.

E.g

Name:
Manufacturer:
Tech:
Favorite JP/PoP:
Year:

I know some of you won't know all the info such as tech or year of manufacturer but I will try to fill in the blanks before I move the game into the qualifying rounds. The name of the machine is most important, but as some machines have the same name please be a bit descriptive where neccessary. E.g theres an MPU-5 and an MPU-3 machine called revoluton.

Once the nominations are in Machines will be paired off and then in each round you pick your favorite of each set of two.

I'll do stats for each round as well. Such as favorite manufacturer, favorite tech etc.

I'll start off with mine.......

Name: Dr Who, The Timelord, Deluxe
Manufacturer: Bell Fruit Games
Tech: Scorpion 2 (I Think can someone correct me if not)
Favorite JP/PoP: £6 / 5p
Year: *To be edited in*

I loved this machine I have never made a loss on this machine ever ever ever. £20 in usually secures a nice £30 - £50 streak. OK I was probably pretty lucky to never ever lose but hey its the only one I've never lost on.

Favourite machine... ohh... thats a tricky one.

I'll post one that I own then, but IMHO it's only my favourite on a particular stake.

Name: Monty Pythons Flying Circus
Manufacturer: Barcrest
Tech: MPU5, Genesis cabinet
Favorite JP/PoP: £15 / 25p / 80%
Year: 1999 I believe

I also love several other machines but can't beat Monty Python for a giggle, the sound effects are the icing on the cake :p

Name:Monopoly
Manufacturer:Bell Fruit
Tech: Scorp.4 or 5, Cab.Eclipse
Favourite JP/PoP.£5, 10p(All I can play but it's a lot easier for the jackpot because of the superboard)
Year.2003

Why I like it?
Well generally, the collect on mystery and you have a lot to go for in this game, even if you dont get the superboard, which makes it a lot more fun to play!:)

This is a site for EMULATION purposes of older machines. Not playing strategies.

I was kind of torn but I have to go with the most played Emu I have.

Name: Silver Shadow
Manufacturer: Barcrest
Tech: MPU 3/4?
JP: £4
Year: 1987?

Great little machine. Let's you on the board frequently and at the time was a breakthrough in machine play. Much better sound quality (Up to then it was beep beep beep mostly). Great coloured reels and addictive as hell...and getting the gold sent a tingle up my spine. Considering a pint was only 99p at the time....£12 on Gold was a night out.
