ok flash holds are holds after nudges..AS STATED IN ONE OF THE REPLIES
also known as CANCELS or are some old grannys call em CANCELLATIONS.
but years ago a FLASH HOLD was A hold after a WIN... 7 heaven has that feature the reels would flash on and and then off .. after getting a jp. and you held them for a repeat....same goes for the CRAZY PAYS machine "however" crazy pays
sometimes doesn't FLASH but try hold em anyways...
EACH WAY NUDGE is another machine that it flashes as well
it makes a noise then the reels flash, if there is a win on the line ABOVE OR BELOW THE WINNING LINE then hold all three. and it will nudge up or down..these all work in the emus as well.. ( yeah i know that some of you know this BUT just in case you don;t..........

A flash hold HAD always been a hold after a nudge. However, like previously discussed, some machnines had features/sub games that flashed the reels once - very fast. this was then known as a flash hold.

so, old timers call them flash holds, newbies call it the long winded hold after the nudge.
