Hi guys. Wonder if any of you lot can help me.
I am trying to install on my friend's PC a Gemini UBS2.PC Camera (SN9C201&202) seems to be the model number.
I cannot get it to install properly and keep getting the following message.
"Windows cannot connect to this webcam. close any program that may be using this webcam and restart wizard".
There are no other programmes running that might be using the webcam. He has XP and apparently it runs sometimes..but the next time he reboots the computer it won't work. Any ideas as to what we are doing wrong?
Cheers for any responses in advance.

There is a clause now in that Webcam make , Did you read it Gaz? , If not i have copyed it on here for you .It might be whats causing the problem!
Quote:.
Paragraph 2 sub section3
If Gemini UBS2.PC Camera (SN9C201&202) Detects Footage / images of a under average person IE Ugly c*** Said Webcam will close down Immediately without delay ..
Or if said person is below Average Nationality IE Scottish Said Webcam will refuse to install on the basis Its not worth its while ..
Not sure if thats the problem but hope it helps m8

lol Toddy.
I can't remember reading that particular clause. I told him he shouldn't have bought it from that dodgy geezer from Newcastle.
I don't think that is the problem though as I am one handsome devil...and I'm English.
Seriously, think it may be that his USB ports are the old types which run a lot slower than this cam is designed for. Advised him to buy an add on.
