Have an Global Grid Runner machine, ran the hopper out of coins, it span empty and then gave some error relating to paying out pounds and a loud siren noise. Refilled the hopper with 30 quid (refill key) and went to collect the rest of the bank. The hopper made a whining noise, did not spin round and then went back to the error code about payout. (not the IOU £10 message).
Took the hopper out, emptied all the coins out, span it round a little, put it back empty, went to collect the bank and it barely moves, just makes this noise.
Is it dead ??? Can I take it apart and realign the cogs or whatever is inside the hopper ?? I put coins back in an tried it again, still the same !!
HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEL P!
Also looking to swap a good condition Hurricaine machine (perfect working order) + cash for something like a club machine with a £250 jackpot. Anyone interested ? I live in the London area, but cannot deliver.
Is my hopper dead ? + machine swap

sounds like you still have a coin jammed in the hopper but it will be stuck at the coin exit hole.
or
you have a faulty hopper.
you just have to remove the actual hopper from the rest of the shelf and poke it out.

Hello all,
I took the hopper out and unscrewed the lid, took that off and had a good look about, could not see any coins. Gave it a good shake, and nothing sounds loose or fell out.
I cant figure out how to get the 'wheel with the four holes in' out, to see what is behind it (if anything is stuck) as there seems to be no screws, and a sort of 'rivet' thing holding the 'wheel' bit in the box.
How do I get the guts out of the hopper ?? Or is it dead! Just makes this grinding noise and then an alarm sounds when it should pay out.
Question....
How much can I get a replacement for !

a wheel with 4 holes in? sounds like its a little compact hopper.money controls maybe?
to get the hopper out the bottom of it with have sort of holding lugs, and the top will have similar things, you just need to pull the top side parts out and the whole out case should come off.
sorry, not really the best discription, but its quite a wierd thing to have to discribe!

if you can see that there is nothing in the hopper at all then it sounds like the hopper is fooked.
i could get you one for about £20 inc postage.

Yeah, that sounds like a good deal, I can't see any coins in it, but have not taken it completely to pieces, Ive taken the lid off and poked around, moved the disc with the holes in around by hand and it sounds very crunchy and sticks a lot.
PM me and I will sort out £20 for ya! and my address !!
Many many thanks !
