I'm with CLOUD 999 (All wins over £2.40 paid in tokens) in that I don't fully understand what this is all about.

As I write this my girlfriend is having a poo. That is the truth. Now I'm sure someone somewhere here might get quite excited about that and it could be the person who has a working MPU5 emulator that they are about to release into the public domain. All well and good. What that has to do with anything I don't quite know.

I'm guessing these are on line communities where people get to express themselves as animals sometimes in a slightly fetishistic way, I haven't really a clue and to be honest I'm not going to worry about it that much.

It would be a shame if you left the scene Ben. As has been said you're the highest posting person and quite a lot of what you write is very informative. If it's tomatos in curry bases or dealing with on line Nigerian scams or posting of fake e-bay requests for your bank details it's usually a cut above the average babble.

You're also a fruit person through and through, albeit one currently in abstinence. I for one, would be sorry to see you leave the forums here.

This is the first I've seen of this arguement. All I will say is that I associate the name Bencrest with respect. What you say is written well, Informative and its easy to understand where your coming from. Please don't leave permanently as the scene will lose far more than a forum member. There are fruit machines around the world spinning in their graves at the mere thought of you leaving.

Right im gonna try and stay calm here lol.

Iv tried to stay quiet but i just cant do it anymore..... and what iv quoted has tipped me over the edge (no disrespect to you Guitar). Now im sure this post is gonna piss alot of you off but you know im not one to be able to stay hush so....


These threads really do tick me off.... and also the way some people respond to them. Just like Hurtands leaving thread... it winds me up, i think its pathetic.

Now i like Ben, we'v had our troubles in the past but ultimately got on... but ffs why throw your toys out of the pram as Hurtand did?
Who bloody cares what someone has said or thinks about you on the net.... you're never going to meet him and isnt going to affect your REAL LIFE.....
Ben leaving here is up to him.... shows how much this guy cares for the scene and anybody in it if he's willing to piss off and request his MOD status be taken away because of ONE f*****g person..

Why everytime that something like this happens are people wanting to start polls and petitions???? Why try to keep someone here who is publicaly (and slightely in an attention seeking way) announcing that they dont wanna be here anymore because of a person who affects them in no way?

I think this whole situation is childish and im getting pretty bored of all of this tbh.

We are all here for 1 reason..... because we all love fruit machines and are surrounded by the opportunity to have a laugh and play fruities we all loved (or hated lol) so much once upon time.
We are not here to act like kids and argue about things that have absolutly NOTHING to do with FME in any way shape or form.

Yes Ben has made alot of great posts and at times been a great community member but unfortunatly IMH has left the scene with one of the biggest piles of pointless bullshit iv ever seen posted..... and i feel like i have wasted a few precious minuites of my life having to read it and let it wind me up.




Now im sorry if i have pissed anybody off with this post but the fact is..... no matter how hard i try, i cant keep my mouth shut.... i know i am a mod here now and should try and stay neutral but i have to say how i see it, and if this makes me a couple of enemies then so be it.


Ben if your reading this.... i hope you do come back, you'v been a part of the scene for a long time now and have contirbuted alot. No matter what iv said here i still repect you as a person, i just think you'v lost touch with reality a bit here.
If you dont come back then i hope you sort yourself out and all goes well for you.... take care.

I believe several people on here are wrong, very wrong. It can be all well and good saying "its on the internet and you will never meet them" but sometimes that is just complete bollocks!

I have had things posted about me on forums and can safely say if I ever saw them I would do something I shouldnt. It may only be the internet but things that are said on public forums can be harsh and if they are lies you have no real way of defending yourself as these people do not know the real you.

Posting crap about others on forums is well out of order!

i dont think Ben has overreacted, if he feels it aint worth the hassle of trying to put things straight that have been said then so be it.

I hate the txxxs that post crap on forums!!!!

You are also correct. They did a cover of the origonal KC track around late 80's/early 90's. Can remember it well popping up on The Hitman & Her show.
