Sorry to post a serious thread in the works but I am curious as to how may (if any) people have clicked on my Signature?

I lost my mum to cancer as a fair few of you know (though in all honesty this refers to any hospital stay), and during this time being at the hospital my family and I was there 24/7.....We are far from rich, and we certainly didn't ask for her to be there.

We HAD to be there for various reasons which I needn't mention of course, but even in a nice time like child-birth, the cost can actually break some people...and even if in an Emergency for example you must display a valid ticket at a cost higher that the need to go and buy a Kilo of Apples at your local town centre or you get an £xx fine or clamped!

I'm not after trying to start any kind of campaign, just to draw the attention to this fact of cost.....hopefully you won't find out....and if we can appeal enough now even when the missus has a little 'un the last thought of the Car Park fee won't be an issue.....

Please spend 30 seconds and send an email to your local MP about it!

on another note to this, for those who feel they want to contribute something to cancer research but dont have the funds to do such then how about we start up a Fruit-emu folding@home team

Many of you may have heard of this and i believe there was one going at FF. Its basically giving over some of your computers idle time to running calculations for comlpex tasks in the research of cancer

its very simple and easy to setup an it wont affect your computer but at least your doing something good with that hunk of electronics :)

happy to set the team up if people are interested

Well I jumped into the river
Too many times to make it home
I'm out here on my own, an drifting all alone
If it doesn't show give it time
To read between the lines

Not about cancer, but my Grandmother broke her leg. And when you're 81 it's pretty serious. So we had to go to the car park and PAY. This really takes the piss. As much as they're helping us they are exploiting our needs to use their car park for the sake of a matter of pence!
I will try and click to see it but I don't know about any donations ect because I'm still a youngling. Hopefully it should all work out.

This is a site for EMULATION purposes of older machines. Not playing strategies.
If you are more interested in playing modern machines,

(DOND is around now on this site..... How long was this sig out of date...!)

Thats my point really CB fella, you have to be there it not by choice....and for that reason they know people will pay the charges!

You needn't donate a penny mate, google your Local MP and send him an email stating your age and the circumstances you had to go through.
