There's a site I sometimes go to called Flashkit which contains some good sound loops that I was thinking of using with an emulation.
I know when "Happy Halloween" was being made, the idea arose to have unique sounds.
However, if I want to add any sounds from Flashkit into a layout, is there any way of changing the samples for the sound ROMs or are they stuck as they are? I'm thinking of creating some unique sound ROMs for some MFME layouts, and I wonder if it's possible.
Cheers for any advice guys and gals:)

This is a site for EMULATION purposes of older machines. Not playing strategies.
If you are more interested in playing modern machines,
visit Jackpottyforums
(DOND is around now on this site..... How long was this sig out of date...!)

In theory, it should be possible to inject new samples into a sound rom image. Things you need would to discover are the default sample-rate for the DAC and also if the samples need to be signed or unsigned. Use a suitable program then to convert your .wav or .mp3 into that format.
Find the offsets of the samples (I think MFME can do that)
It's just a case then of injecting the samples into the rom image with a suitable program
Provided there is no CRC protection, which I doubt the manu's would implement for raw sample data, you can have a fekking blast
Might have me a play aswell with this.
