Hi guys,
First post - but I hope it's in the right place!
I have a quick question about the above machine. I'm about to pick one up that seems to be in fairly good nick next weekend, for £100...
.. but I've read somewhere on this forum that as the dot matrix display on the machine can be prone to problems, and spares are near impossible to find.
The one I'm picking up appears to be working fine at the moment, but am I likely to run into problems later? If so..whats likely to go wrong with it?
Obivously I know its hard to predict as it depends on what sort of life the machines had, but if there's a common issue with this machine it'd be good to know in advance! I was also wondering whether £100 was a good price or not..
Any opinions would be appreciated!
Cheers, and looking forward to having a good look around the forums! I've owned a couple of old M1A Maygay machines in the past, but this is my first Bellfruit!

I have had 2 of these and worked on a number of them. I have only found that sometimes you might have the odd dot missing. I wouldn't worry to much about stuff that hasn't happened yet. If the worst comes to the worst theres people on here or the MECCA that can help. Yeah, good buy!

its very rarely that u get problems with dot matrix. if u do then its maybe a case of a dry joint on the connection but nothing to worry about.

yeah as lincs and johnforeskin says they are usually ok but i have had a couple that have gone faulty and its just been a case of resoldering the joints on all the connection on the matrix.
