Hi all

I did not delete any accounts when I introduced the ISP only rule all bar the one who was leeching every thing, Therefor if you had an account before the new rules were introduced then your account should still be active, to be honest I did not want to do it this way it makes a whole lot more work for me, if you are having problems logging in and you had created your account with a non ISP before approx 2 weeks ago then please PM me your log on name and i will check out your account as you should still have access, I did not punish the bulk of visitors to the repro who used the server correctly, your account should still be active, so please PM if you have issues logging on and you used a hotmail or other account before approx 2 weeks ago and i will look into why you cannot log on.

Thanks for the detailed reply quoted here.

For all those that arn't aware Cliff originally (actually on more than One occassion!) made his Repro totally open, due to One or Two a*******s this 'open gate' had to be withdrawn hence a full 'sign-up' is now needed.

I am among loads of FME users who totally appriciate a 'base' and all the time put in that we really don't see.

The fact 'as a new user' to the Repo you get log-in problems don't ignore it--this host's almost everything you need.

Thanks for that, the server is not here for people to leech and create disks then sell them on ebay and make a profit if i wanted to i could have done that myself, its there to provide a base for recorces for layout designers, also as a place for newbees to find older layouts thay may have been removed from other places by now, and finaly for people to get layouts for scorp4 and MPU5, allthough with some other sites now allowing the hosting of thease layouts this part will now proberly end up being a less important part of what the repro does, allthough I will continue to add them as and when thay come out. However I have said that if anyone would like anything in bulk I am willing to provide them on DVD either for £5 this is just to cover the DVD's and postage the complete repro folder is currently at almost 30mb I dont want to make a profit from the repro or the guys whos hard work has provided us with thease layouts to play on, its those guys and the guys who work hard in the background to find the recorces the repo hosts who do all of the hard work. Or if you send me the DVD's and an SAE i will make your disks and send them back to you. Any one wanting to use this service please PM for more information.

That means you're hosting about 10 of my layouts

I think Cliff meant 10 Gb in which case he's put a hell of a lot of time, effort and money into providing the scene with an invaluable resource.

I myself have pretty much everything that the Repro has to offer, but I still find myself logging in even if its to use the search function to locate stuff I can't be arsed to find on my own HD/DVDs lol

Its not there for people to leech its entirety, but as a RESOURCE centre for those who may want the occasional romset, layout or bit of artwork. For anything else - sod off and try newsgroups.

Yes well spotted i should not post late at night when i am feeling the need for speed, yes it should have read 30GB lol, not all my own work I have help with DVD's from people in the scene to help me with recorces and there will soon be more when Ady has completed his mamoth scanning task.
