hi folks,
i got myself a fruity today!! at last after all those years... anyway just some easy questions for you folk... i got the quake fruit machine from red gaming... what is the black long lcd display near the coin slot? its counting something and says 000040
????
also where can i get amanual for this machine any ideas?

Its called a refill meter and it counts the ammount of coins refilled into the hopper when the doors are closed.Its in 10p units so yous says 0000040 means its had £4 refilled in it at one point, thats all.
So next time you get an i.o.u call manager message, turn your refill key and top up that hopper !

i dont have a manual for the actual quake machine but i do have the red gaming standard manual which came with most machines.

a red gaming one? all i got was like 3 A4 pieces of paper with some basic instructions for barcrest machines and kinda my one... but isnt for my machine as such but red gaming is basically barcrest isnt it? a label inside said so lol
fill me in dude! i bought my machine from liberty games if that helps!

cheers m8! but do you have to fill the hopper up? im a total newbie to a real machine, cant i just slap shed loads of pounds thru the coin slot and keep playing until it eats them all? or do i HAVE to use this doo dah thingy hopper lol

can somebody tell me why the area marked in pink does nothing? not even light up or used in the game?
looks like its disabled... on the thingys it says 30p 20p 80p and so on????

I had a similar thing on my BF Cops 'n' Robbers, down by the reels, certain amounts wouldn't light up when the Jackpot was set to a limit lower than the amounts shown - not sure if it is something similar here?
Obviously with 20p etc I would think not, but thought I'd add this as an idea anyway!

cheers for that as it keeps my options open! i believe i may of found out by myself this afternoon whilst looking at the machine, on one of the winning areas on the glass it says 'match 3 for hidden bonus for blah blah' or something similar, but very strange how in flashy insert coin mode they still dont lite up! the area im on about is whats called the rocks so im presuming that is the hidden feature.

the red gaming manual i have is 52 pages and tells you every thing to do with a red gaming machine(technical wise)
