Not having a lot of luck really on this One........4 threads the same problem.
It may help the guy's that can help you if you add to the previous One, past suggestions can be eliminated and they can also see what youl've been advised before.

Could this be a coin mech sorter routing problem? Maybe the engs have seen this before? (Baz, et al) I would look at my routing plug for starters...or possibly the sorter flap is sticking - needs a clean (I have an Addams Family with a C435A mech)

Was playing a Space Raiders today which was doing the same.Hopper was £26 light and all the coins were going to the cashbox.Collected £40 from the bank and got an i.o.u for £32.
Funny thing was the manager tried to refill it via the refill key, but all the coins were STILL going into the cashbox ,so i couldnt get the money from the machine, was going to try and explain the problem but gave up.
Still got the readys though.

if you have already checked that all plugs are plugged in properly on the coin mech then it looks like you have a faulty coin mech.
what type is it and i'll see if i can get one for you.

As stupid as it may seem try shorting the battery out (make sure the machine is off) A corrupt RAM can do all sorts of silly things. Had this a few times. If it's still playing up check the following
That the divert plug is plugged in (It's the 9 way plug)
That it has a routing plug (all coins will go down default paths if not) This being a 22 way
Lastly assuming you have checked all the above correctly, check to see that the solonoid bolds are in in the seperator (this is the thing with the moving flaps) This really is a last resort but i have come across this before. Came fully working off a licenced seller, bag of shit!

One of the plugs was upside down, bent one of the terminals. This also in 'perfect working order', from seller.
Now I think I need a new fill-lock I can't get the meters up, I also want to change the volume, it's LOUD!

If it's a Barcrest i think you have to hold the 2nd hold down before turning the key to get into vol control? Have a play about with it. Also check to see if the licenced seller has missed one of the terminals that may be hanging off one of the refill lock tabs. Licenced seller, licenced #@#@#@#!!!

Check the switch for operation - disconnect it first, then use a buzzer or battery/bulb/bits of wire to see if its switching. Then check that the wires are properly seated in the back of the push-on connectors (they are usually IDC types that displace the insulation - prone to pull out sometimes) prove this if you have a meter, check across the connectors with the machine on, there should be a voltage present if connectors OK.

Some wire has come loose, now the thing works properly. I bought it for £60, now it looks great. Any profit you think? I already want another one!

With a percentage and jackpot keys. They plug onto the program card.

the swiches only change the game play, and how the machine is opperated, like if it pays out after a win, instead of banking it (i hate that lol) i think u need a key, u should have one with it, shouldnt ya?

I have a green key and a black key, and it is set on £15 JP 20p play 80% payout.
It's just it has stickers for 30p play and 70% payout, must just have been left in the machine at some point.
Thanks

You won't be able to increase the jackpot without changing the ROM's. You can change the percentage from 70-98% I can supply you one of these no problem. Tell me what percentage you want via a PM and i'll pop you one in the post.
