Hello people,

I've won an auction on ebay for a crazy fruits machine, (£5 Jackpot)
It's getting picked up on saturday. I've been talking to the bloke who i'm getting it off, he says it was working when he got it, then it just packed up, he thinks it's a power supply issue. If so, where would i get a power supply from and what price are we talking about??

You'd be surprised how many people just claim it was working and then the power must have gone... I have heard it 100s of times.. it may be as simple as that, but if you don't know about electrics I wouldn't fiddle about with the power pack as it's high voltage...

Good luck with it though as I know lots of people like this machine :)

Hi James, thanks for replying, I'm quite competent with electrics ( only 3 large shocks so far!!) so i'll have a tinker! mainly just wondering where i'd locate parts if needed, i'm new to this scene!

its always a common fault that the power supply always fecks up, however u should b able to pick up a secondhand power supply up from ebay for around about the £20 mark + postage

Sorry lincs you beat me to it :)

if it IS only the power then it's an easy fix.. I assume nothing at all is showing power on it. If this is the case and you have changed fuse (not being condescending) then yep buy a power and should be an easy fix (if I can swap them anybody can).

What area you live? Check to see who on here lives near you and is competent and then ask them to come and have a look.

I live in east yorkshire, Goole to be precise

The fuse is going to be the first thing i check and then look at the power supply, i guess the supply is just a step down convertor from 240v to 12v??
Would any kind of transformer do the trick??

Good morning all!
Picked the machine up on saturday, brought it home, plugged it in and it works perfectly!!! only a couple of minor issues with it, percentage seems to be high so gonna change it tonight and no refill key supplied with it!
All in all, very happy with my purchase, £5.51 for a working fruity! God i love ebay!!!!
