Felt compelled to share this with you lot. I was thinking about starting a thread to find out who your favourite comedians are but this pair would win it hands down. They were at least 40 years ahead of their time. It's over 70 years old this clip. Unbelieveable.

Where you came from, is gone.
Where you thought you were going, was never there.
And where you're at right now, aint no good, unless you can get away from it.

Agree 100% with you there. A few years back I was working from home - or meant to be. BBC2 did a late morning run of Laurel & Hardy pictures, and as a result I lost half of each day helpless with laughter. Comic geniuses, the pair of them.Felt compelled to share this with you lot. Grew up with 'em in the 70's as a kid and to this day I still think they are comic geniuses...Timeless I guess. Just getting used to seeing some of their movies in colour.
Less funny is this "This Is Your Life" episode from the US shortly before Stan died. Two things strike me about this.
1) How uncomfortable they both look in front of the camera while being interviewed.
2) The smug git of a presenter who constantly jokes about Ollie's weight. I'd have punched his lights out. Smarmy bastard!!!

I saw this when it was first broadcast, and thought it was class. I still do.

It's not really funny I guess and in a way it's not having a go at gay people...it's having a go at gay people who "stalk".
Which is just as bad as men who stalk women, women who stalk women...so there's nothing wrong with it at all.
