Hi,

There replacing the £20 notes.

I tried one in the note acceptor on my machine and found it didnt work.

Is there some way of getting the note acceptor to take the new £20?

yer depending what note acceptor u got put it in teach mode n teach it with the new £20 note

Its the type which looks like its smiling.

I will have to try and dig out the instructions that i had with it if i can find them.

sounds like nv4 or nv8

as i say put it in teach mode n teach the acceptor to accept the new note

Ive had a look in the bottom of the machine and i cant seem to find the paper work.

Any chance of you giving me a quick walk through on what ive got to do with the teach mode please.Ive not used the teach mode before.

its called an update.

a software update is coming out for all note acceptors .

try to contact the manufacturer of the note acceptor.

i beleive they cahrge about £35 for the update.

yep thinking its a new acceptor he got so it should already updated on software

spent all week upgrading acceptors, what a shit week.
