I have the above machine and all works well but there is low volume from the speaker. I have it turned up to 100%. Does anyone have any suggestions before I get the soldering iron out?

will either be the sound chips are knackered(which i doubt)

or the speaker is knackered.

it may also be a fault on the mpu but again i doubt it.

i would go for the speaker being blown which would need a direct replacement.

I'll try another speaker first, thats the easiest and cheapest option. Do you know how many ohms (ie 8) it has to be? There is no info on the speaker itself.
