The poor reliability is whats stopped me from buying a 360, theres been loads going wrong.

well danny it seems you are not alone i have two friends with the same problem one has been waiting 3 weeks and the other 2 weeks they say its faulty soldering inside when the xbox gets hot and they do if u block the vents even slightly they heat up inside and the dodgy solder faulters whether this is true or not i cant tell but when i got my xbox i stood it up beside my telly stand and it did get hot i didnt realise at the time but now i keep it well away from everything hope u get it back soon it must be hell without it i would be lost

i am lost without it ..it hasnt been sent off yet we have ring and they are goin to contact us and they are picking it up for me but hopefully get it back soon !!

I have had an xbox 360 since xmas - I have played it twice - my mrs 20 times - son josh - 40............ Games systems are all the same to be honest so sure you will make it

My PSP has had slightly more play by me - and my daughter - but that's it... Don't know why I bother buying them - lol........... Guess I should get the Wii next and then PS3......

They all have issues --- wait 12 months and the bugs aren't in them and you get them half the price---

the 3 red lights or ring of death as it is known,is a hardware problem common to all of the first released 360's
this due to overheating no matter where you put your 360 it will still do it ,it will fail to start up or crash after a few mins of play time,mine did it managed a quick fix on it worked for about 2 hours then 3 red lights again.
basically its a send back to msoft to get a refurbished one back, basically if u brought one of the first 360's don't be surprised if it suddenly gets 3 red lights

i know this is not much help only going on my own exp.
