hi guys / gals,

i have just had my first machine deliverd, vivid gamings bottle bank, and i go though test mode and all is well, apart from, when i test the lamps it shouts hey check it out at me and i read sumwere that this happens when it has found a blown bulb, but i cant see a blown bulb, they all look fine, and the other problem is,
wen i do a datapak test, it fails it, ne ideas??,
AND
there ia a really annoying buzzing sound cummin from the machine but it only happens when a set of lamps is lit up, i dont no if its connected to the previous problem, but any help would be graetly apreciated,

the hay check it is were the machine has found a problem yours is the a blown lamp look below the reels for note bez lamp or a the front still no joy there is a weak blub thats going to blow soon

check your bulbs

data pak will fail because you do not have a edc data pak. as your machine is not data software you don`t need this.

the buzzing from the psu is due to large amounts of current being drawen from the psu as the machine will be lighting all 256 bulbs at once

and now having a good listen, yeah the buzzing was cumming from the psu, all problems fixed,

At the risk of souding really stupid, can i change the scrolling display when the machine is not in use, in stead of it saying, " please vist our website www.vivid-gaming.co.uk" can i enter my own message for it to display??

Really not worth the effort, while it would no doubt be possible it would be a bloody nightmare, modifying the ROMs and suchlike.

you would need verson i.e Bot_Bnk_H at the mo yours is some thing like Bot_Bnk_S the H verson is for writing a message in attract mode the removing of any text would you using a hex editor and removing or replace any of the messages with the same amount of chr$ to keep the chksum the same and not cause a software claps
