hi yer trying to run rainbow riches on vista comes up with error msstdfmt.dll missing of system can anyone help thanks johnnyman

search the new releases section - and you will find a fix for this

If the fix doesn't work (it seems to sometimes on Vista but not for everybody), some people have dual boot --- Not sure what you can do.. I am considering writing the newer machines in .net which from what I can gather would work in Vista......

If that doesn't work then sorry mate


if it comes up msstdftm.dll error;

STEP 1B - Download msstdfmt.dll off the internet (google it) and place in c:windowssystem32 directory.

STEP 2 - Go to Start->Run and type in following command to register the DLL.

regsvr32.exe c:windowssystem32msstdfmt.dll

STEP 3 - Get confirmation message

STEP 4 - You should no longer get the message that MSSTDFMT.DLL is missing.

Playing:

First click on the note acceptor to insert credits
Load or save pots/roms by using the two icons on the top left.

Press Autoplay and then start for Autoplay - pressing Autoplay again cancels.
Press Start for single entry.

The Bet key defines which stake you are playing at, the stake changed the possible prize (although £500 is available on all stakes).

hi yer i have tryed but now get msg failed with error code 0 8002801c dosent want to register the dll file vista what a nightmare to new for its own good thanks for trying any other ideas whould be gratefull keep up the good work i enjoy playing your fruits johnnyman

you have to turn off UAC then register the dll as james said

in vista admin accounts dont have admin rights as such etc

Doh - I didn't even think of that Steve - somebody else had said that to me... But things come in my brain and escape out the other side without having the chance to be stopped by anything....

you can play it at the skyvegas site for free if you are so desperate to play it

its cheaper and easier to play it at sky vegas instead of paying insane prices to buy the same thing from this website
