Hello,

I downloaded 9.4 and connot get it to work. I keep on getting a grayed-out emulator screen when I choose to load a ROM...

I brought the emulator plus ROMs from eBay in an attempt to get it working and experienced the same outcome. No game will load properly and the emulator freezes.

Is this due to my OS? I am running the emulator on a 1Ghz Celeron M laptop runnung Windows XP home.

Any help and advice will be a huge help

Its not the OS thats for sure, do you have the latest version of direct x (9 I believe)?

also possible its an issue with your sound drivers, if your using onboard sound then download the latest drivers

the greyed out screen thing happens to me if try run new game in old mfme check the version on about tab prob 9.4 but if got off ebay never know could be anything probaly something simple as mentioned

Maybe you just got a dodgy disc from EBAY

What was thepoint of buying that from ebay when you can get all you want from here and at cliff's REPRO (REPO) site.

And all the support you could need.

The emulator does appear frozen until the game has loaded properly

So if you bought a disc from eBay - why did you need to download the emulator if it was on the disc ?
Are you sure the game on the disc are for V9.4 - if they are for V1, 2 or 3 then maybe they won't load into V9
