i heard that if you email a particular message on messenger to at least 18 contacts, your messenger icon turns blue and you become exempt when they shut the server down later this year?

is this fact or bull ?

Are they really scrapping MSN messenger later this year ? Please say it aint so..that would mean I would need to change to crappy Yahoo messenger or ICQ or similar ?

well, i kinda believe that there are thousands if not more like millions of unused hotmail account dotted around the world, and that msn wish to clear them up.

This all came about becuase some one started a chain letter with a linc to a BBC news article saying msn were gona start charging so it looked official
If you look carefully the article was dated 2001 and it was in response to the calapse of the .com boom falling over and every one paniking.
They later scrapped the idea when it became aparent the internet buisness wasnt dying

All complete bull really, especially when if you get messages then they are fro 2 days ago...I got one late when the girl from the Ring was supposed to arrive in my room or summat...Shame it was wrong really;)
