Well, I don't know if you could call it a problem, but we'll see.

Well, here's the story for those who don't know:

About 6 months ago I bought a Club Psycho Cash Beast fruit machine off of Ebay for £230. Waited about 2 months for delivery, they finally deliver around October of last year. But not CPCP, they rang my mum up saying that when they were loading the machine into the lorry, they dropped it and smashed the glass on the front, and I could either wait until it was fixed, or get a Monty Pythons Flying Circus club fruit machine delivered the next morning, I chose for MPFCC.

So, that was delivered, I turn it on, and... "Hey! Check it out!", the alarm went off, with Pnd opto blocked on the screen, I asked on here for some help and looked in the manuel, and good old Bazpeep gave me some advice, which I've only just done, I found the circle inside the hopper unit, which I twisted round for about a minute, when 3 pound coins fell out. "Result!" I thought..

I tried putting the top back on the hopper unit, won't fit back on properly, I managed to get it on in the end, I then went to slide the hopper unit back in the machine, and it wouldn't fit.

So I now have a machine with it's top door open, and the hopper unit on the floor with the coin mech hanging out.

Any ideas why the hopper unit won't fit back in the machine?

Help would be MUCH appreciated,

Jimbob

When you say it won't fit, you do realise you have to slide it 'into' a shelf, lifting up a small metal prong do allow it to fit?

Quite hard to describe, but the payout shelf (with hoppers e.t.c.) slides on top of another shelf, with a small metal clip above it, with a metal prong inside the clip.

If you mean it won't fit for another reason, let us know a bit more clearly (ideally with photos!) why it won't fit :p

I'll try for photos tomorrow, but I've got it out, I try and slide it back in, but it won't go in, it goes in until it hits something, which I then can't get it sort of, on top of, because the coin mech is in the way.

It's very hard to describe lol :p

I'm sure it's what goes up must come down, but yeah.. I get the picture... ;)

I've fiddled about with it for a while now, I think I've found the solution to the problem.

When I took off the "lid" off the hopper unit to get to the circle inside to move it around, I then can't get that "lid" back on properly, which I'm thinking makes it that much taller so that it interferes with the coin mech.

If you can understand that you have my respect lol.

Will hopefully get piccy's up tomorrow afternoon to explain a bit more.

By the way...

I used to be schizophrenic but were ok now

Another update and it's bad news:

Managed to fit the hopper unit back in (thanks Bencrest!), loaded the machine up with crossed fingers... "Hey! Check it out!" alarmed again.........

With the same alarm, faulty hopper unit?
