Thanks for your respnse. Meters?What are the meters and were are they located?? I am based in mansfield nottinghamshire area...One thing that might have had an affect ( but didnt affect another slot I had for three years before selling ) My slot is located in my summer house/ poker shed..Its been quite cold and maybe dampish in there for the last couple of months...I play poker once or twice a month in there with heaters one during play and the rest of the time its cold in there...Cold damp or cold have an adverse affect??

Thanks for advice, First thing is I dont want this to cause arguments on the forum, I have looked at the machine, When turned on the reels spin,still makes a loud hissing noise from the speakers and the alarm sounds.

 

The power supply underneath has all green lights on, The board with the battery, which seems to look ok ( no leaked ) has a green light flasing called secruity,and one light not on that states vdisp, Also a flashing green light on the bord with the percentage key and 1 flashing green light on the board at the back about half way down..I have no machine knowhow and if push comes to shove any ideas on where to sell as spares or repairs as ebay wont.Thanks

I've been working on a standalone touchscreen unit and also use SimpleTouchFE, it's a great frontend for all sorts of games. (actually been using it for a long time now from the arcade community)
But my point of posting was that since mine is standalone I just created a simple batch file to auto start both the inde_sim.exe and the itbox_emu.exe simultaneously before the frontend launches and just leave them running in the background. when you exit a game it just brings you back to the frontend. I haven't had any problems with it yet.
There are a few games that are giving me troubles, but 174 games so far work fine.

What kind of conflicts are you having with both of them running?
(it may be my problem with a couple of the games giving me trouble)

The two giving me problems right now are PimpMyRide and SouthPark2..... they load fine, but then when they start the screen is black other than the currency, sounds and all running in the background.
Then there are a couple that play just fine, but cause an error of sorts only when exiting.

Maybe I'm being dim???But i'm using simpletouch fe frontend and want to have the credits on all the time,Instead of having to close the program and click connect on the credits program and then re start simple touch,ANy help would be great.Thanks

These are great and love how the run,I have recently got the two disc version off ebay,I can run them in simpletouch fe and it looks great,only downside is you have to close simple touch to re-connect for credits.With this pack what program you using as yours keeps the credits???Help please as i would love to be able to play these without having to close the program each time i want to change a games.Thanks

you will find a program on the disk called simple touch which is a frontend to load the games like a touchscreen system.

im currently in the process of creating my own and i thought i was not to far from finnishing it but have run into a few problems like 60% of the games dont start so im having to find a workaround for that problem so until i figure it out it shall be a while before i release it into the wild.

ive had a look at the simple touch FE and it looks ok but not tried it out properly, but it should be what your after.

Thanks douga1.The Simple touch fe is ok but i have to keep connecting the inde with the cresits on.Every time i want to pick another game i have to close down simple touch FE and re connect the credit thing????Is there a way i can just allocate credit to simple touch without using the other progrm or stopping and restarting the program???Thanks
