Done 1 of them bets down the bookies at the weekend where u bet on a number of teams & they all have 2 win 4 u 2 win the bet, well bet on 12 teams only put down £2 & the return was £524, every team won but Liverpool 2nite, would of been a nice little profit, i am gutted!!!!!!
If Liverpool were the final team on your coupon, and only team playing last night, then you could've covered your bet by backing the draw and an Aston Villa win to guarantee yourself a profit.
Eg.
Liverpool 2/5 - a win here gets you your £524 for £2 stake.
Draw 7/2 - £100 bet gets you £450 returned (incl. stake).
Villa 7/1 - £50 bets gets you £400 returned (incl. stake).
So your total outlay would be £100 + £50 + £2 = £152, with your minimum return being £400.
It's a crude example, but arbitrage opportunities like this are how some pro punters make their money.
