howcome this technology can not be emulated.

and howcome you manage to get all the information for the roms?

Just got a new (well secondhand) laptop today and the resolution is 800 x 600. Just wondering what dx's/roms were available for me to download.

Monday night after hours at the pub I work in:

Jackpot & The Beanstreak:

Must've put about 50 quid in and got nothing. Went home feeling very sick as it is girlfriends birthday on Wednesday and am taking her to Paris and need some spending dosh. I just love getting the Beanstreak. Kinda addicted to it after on the first weekend we had it, I put in about 25 quid, gave me beanstreak and gave me 100 quid from it.

Tuesday morning before we opened the doors:

Put a couple of quid in a got beanstreak easily, and it gave me 50.

Made me feel better.

Tuesday night after hours:

Royal Roulette:

Must of put about 40 in and gave me Winning Streak, got 30 from that, next time put me up on the board, started flashing, another 25, got on board again but died, then got again and started flashing, and got another 25, then played on a bit more and just took small wins from then. Can't really work out how much I was up but at least 40/50.

Today:

Was bored in town so went into local fruities (Showboat) with 36 quid, telling myself I was gonna put 16 in 'Cherry 7's' (the guy who posts from Ipswich must've seen this as its in the same Showboat in Ipswich (i'm from Colchester) in one of the halls (there are 3 in Colchester), and 20 in Super Breakout in one of the other ones. Cherry 7's made me come out 1 pound down from it, and I went to the other Showboat and went on SB. Didnt play that well so just played on a few bar x's, the first one gave me a tenner after a few spins, and the spin after gave me pot, went on other ones afterwards, just to round off the plays etc and gave me a few fivers and tenners on it. Then I saw there was another Cherry 7's Machine (didnt notice this before) and went on it and gave me 35 quid.

Am up about 50 quid.

Happy days again.

The whole point of this post is that how do people play on Machines? Do you take small wins or just play for pot? I just go for it, I have tog et pot on a machine, otherwise i'm not happy. I wont even settle for the feature just before pot or anything (well I do if i've only got a fiver on me or something). Whats the best strategy?

And also, where can I get roms for machines like Bar X and Cherry 7's? Are they available on here? Would probably stop me from gambling so much if they were!
