I signed up for Quicksilver gold card (Mainly to get some match plays) - Is there any way to cancel my membership / get removed from the mailing list?

Best chain amusements?
18 January 2010 - 09:59 PM
In my town there are the following amusements:
Quicksilvers
Nobles
Royal Amusements
Olympia Leisure
I know 'None/Emulation' is the best for my wallet but are there any of these I should totally avoid and any better than the other?

Do fruit machines enjoy my pain?
15 January 2010 - 10:33 PM
Tonight I was playing on a machine on and off (Was at a bingo club so juggling bingo and machines!)
Anyway it wasn't in a generous mood, until about 10 minutes before home time (I.e. Last train home!!!) when it went crazy and decided to give 2 JP wins and some decent mid sized wins all in quick succession! I know they're random but I was gutted to leave!
Still lost a little money overall but nowhere near as much as I had expected to tonight!

Gamble feature on Barcrest £70 JP machines
12 January 2010 - 11:00 PM
Are there any set % payouts with the 'up to £70' gamble feature on the Barcrest machines? (The circle with the spinny arrow and the red/blue partitions).
I was on a machine for a significant amount of time today and ended up collecting any winnings rather than risking this 'gamble' as it seemed a little dodgy!

Extra Ball Bingo (Barcrest)
01 January 2010 - 11:18 PM
Evening all!
Recently joined a bingo club and they have millions of fruit machines with various jackpots! Great fun but hard on the bank account
Anyway recently been playing a game on one of the Barcrest £70 JP machines (£1 stake, but can lower to 50p for £35 JP and accumulate up to £70 if you're lucky enough!) which has a game called 'Extra Ball Bingo' on it.
Some of you are probably familiar with the game but basically you have 4 bingo cards and the machine generates some random bingo balls which are marked off your cards to make prize lines etc, then hopefully you get treated to to 12 'extra balls' to try and win the JP or some decent £20 - £30 prizes.
I've emptied this machine several times, the other day I got 2 £70 JP wins in a row!
Anyway tonight I couldn't help noticing the club had 'standalone' Extra Ball Bingo machines where you could stake £1 or £2 for £50 houses but there were pots of money on the top screen? I put a tenner in but didn't even get any extra balls so went back to the multi game machine, then I heard a person scream 'OMG £2k!!!' and it turns out one of the standalone machines was displaying 'hand pay £2k'!
So could anybody explain the differences between the 'standalone' machine version of this game and the one on the multi game machine?
Cheers!
