Nv7 Note Changer Help

Hi Guys,

Could someone please help me with a problem i have with my NV7 Note changer, i had to change the battery on my MPU5 board for my barcrest rio grande machine, everything works perfect but my note acceptor no longer seems to power up at all? i used to hear it startup when i first switched on machine but now nothing and no lights on either?
Do i need to set this up because i have removed the battery? if so could someone please advise me on what to do please.

Nv7 Note Changer Help

Hey guys!

Can anyone help with a NV7 Note changer?, when you switch machine on you can hear it starting up and when door is open it flashes green as it should in normal operation mode, i have told the hopper its full to activate it but when it takes notes it just spits them out again, i tried cleaning but nothing? i looked at my barcrest MPU5 manual and the NV7 manual but they dont say if it needs setting up with the machine? the dip switches on the note changer are set to high accept and parallel.

Anyone have any ideas?

Changing Float Amount

Hi again guys,

I got advice before on changing the float amount on my barcrest rio grande machine by changing the dip switches on either the main board or game card.

Guys how do i know what the float is set to before and when i change? the only reason i knew before was because i dumped the hoppper.

Sorry if this is a silly question.

Would also like to know if anyone has any advice on very high electrical noise coming through machine speaker? ( not same machine ) when i unplug speaker and restart, machine is quiet but connect speaker and there is such a horrible electrical noise! could it be the switch mode psu???

Changing Price Of Play On High Jackpot Machine

Hi guys,

I would like to know how to change the price of play on a high jackpot machine?

The machine is a barcrest and uses the mpu5 board, i have seen jackpot and stakes keys but i dont see any details on high jackpot machines, my machine is on 50p a play and i want it on 10p a play, i looked at the board and there is no percentage key or stakes key fitted.

Homers Meltdown Maygay Machine

Hey guys, its been a while since i have been on here due to working away but now back in the good old uk! i am getting a maygay machine called homers meltdown and wanted to know if anyone had any info on this cabinet at all or where i could get hold of a user manual/service manual, now please accept my apologise if this is on here but the forum seems to have changed and i cant seem to use the search bit! Doh!!
