In Topic: 2p / Older Machines

18 August 2006 - 01:07 AM

I went to Billing Aquadrome last weekend and I was suprised that there are a few 2p play machines still going there. There were some of those ones where you spell nudge across the reels (hmm crap description hey!!) and a few others. There was also a confusing multi stake machine where you could choose 2P 4P 8P or 10P play on the same machine, pretty crap though (£8 to win 60p!!!!!!!)

2p play are too rare and I hate that. Could anyone tell me the name of the 2p play machine that had multiple cars on, oh no i just remembered, Monte Carlo or something like that. Is that available on ere???? I played that for hours back in the early to mid nineties.

Apart from Billing Aquadrome in Northamptonshire I don't actually know of any other places. unless you wanna go to Blackpool or Great Yarmouth! sorry.

Good luck finding those 2P play machines mate, I wish there were more still about!

I work in as a Customer Care Professional for a company called SEI. The client that I support is Mc Donalds which is cool. I enjoy helping people out and so doing IT support for McD's really gives me a buzz. I also produce websites for Companies Charities and Pals. One website I produced was http://www.crabtrees...fmotoring.co.uk which includes a mock version of the official DSA Theory Test. I have just started my new shift at work doing 3PM-12AM and it is knackering.

I did used to enjoy my full time job of being lazy errrrr I mean studying at uni LOL!!! Only joking, uni is such a challenge especially when it comes to final exams. I got a 1st class degree in computer science. I know how tough getting those grades can be. best of luck peeps.

3rd line congrats mate you deserve it. All the hard work paid off.

Volunteer work, I respect people who can do that.

Photography hmm I am so rubish I can't even take a photo properly, you know "Is that building supposed to be leaning??".

Designing panels must be interesting, for me I can't do with the stress, I suppose thats because I am a perfectionist. I did 18 draft copies of my final year uni project, hmmm bit picky eh?

Anyway gotta go, things to do people to not see. Im doing overtime today so ill cut this short.

It is at the back of the Searles Caravan site. There are two really close and one is the Golden Sands. I used to go to Seares year after year, but havent been for about six now. Oh well. I remember being the annoying kid who would show up the adults by knowing more about the machines than them. Now I haven't got a clue. My mind must have started to melt under the heat in the UK LOL. Or was I just lucky (Lucky Probably!!)

I am glad to hear of other hard working people. These people deserve the reslults from all the work they put in. 2:1 is great 1st is excellent. 2:2 still shows some hard work. Getting a degree is excellent, getting a job from it was hard at first for me. I am now doing training for a company and then the fun will begin. Anyway congratulations to you all or good luck for anyone taking exams soon. All that is left to do for some of you is to celebrate!!
