**** Smiley Fruit Machine 2008 - Final Release ****

27 April 2008 - 08:05 PM

Hi all.

The final version of Smiley Fruit Machine (now renamed to 2008) has been released.
So much has been added to this version, including 3 brand new features, replacing features like Chopper and Chompy Chase, which I think let the game down, and didn't really fit in with the rest of the game.

There have also been a lot of extras added to current features, which will catch a few of you out. :)

I've also managed to tweak the game in many ways to get it playing just right.

On top of that, the extra time I took before releasing it has meant that it is as bug-free as any game I've ever played, which also meant finally finding the "3 Flags" bug which wouldn't pay out the £30 on some occasions.

For links to the download, and a full list of all the features, along with instructions for each, visit my site at: --- www.smileydesign.co.uk ---

If after all the testing of the past months, someone does find a serious bug, as in one that spoils the gameplay, then at some point in the future I will release a minor update to it.
Otherwise, this is it, and all minor bugs that surface will officially be known as "hidden features". :)

Hope you enjoy Smiley Fruit Machine 2008.
I've certainly enjoyed the ride.

Smiley.

An early Christmas present for you....Smiley Fruit Machine 1.6 released

24 December 2007 - 08:14 PM

Hi guys.

Long time no see. :)
For those who don't know me, I spent about 18 months around here a few years ago, and created a few Full Screen DXs (Rocky Horror, Crystal Maze, among others).

But much further back than that (1999) I released Smiley Fruit Machine as shareware. It did really well for me, but that's besides the point.
I have released Smiley Fruit Machine 1.6, a much updated fruit machine, which as well as having new sound and graphics, has many new features too.
And it's now FREEWARE!

For more information, pop over to my website (via link)
and take a look at it.

There will be a few minor updates to it in the future, but there'll be no time frame on this.

Merry Christmas,
Smiley.

Can Showtime Spectacular be emulated in MFME2 (I know it's emulated in BFMulator)

07 October 2005 - 10:18 PM

As the title says, does anyone know if the Showtime Spectacular roms will work with MFME2?

I've tried getting them to run in a classic that I'm making, using techniques that have worked for other BFM games, but can't seem to get these working.

I haven't spent a lot of time trying to get them to work yet, so I thought I'd see if there's any reason they wouldn't work before I put the time in.

Cheers,
Smiley.

mark8664s Flyer Upload

11 April 2005 - 09:14 PM

Is there any chance of the flyers that mark8664 has uploaded to Pete's Repo being uploaded to the flyer gallery here too?

I haven't been able to log on to the repo for ages now (no reply from Pete on a few occasions concerning it), so it would be useful.

Cheers,
Smiley.
