I'm not one to beg, but I'm pissed off.

I've got an old PC that uses DDR (184 pin), and I want it to go a little faster. I've just brought a 512MB upgrade, and must have had a problem installing it as the PC went beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep.

When I looked at the ram, one of the metal connections (or whatever you call the gold bits at the bottom) was missing, and it's never worked. I'm now back on my old ram knowing I can't take this back to the shop.

Anyone know where I can get some DDR cheap (I can get it for £16, so anywhere cheaper would be nice) Or anyone have any spare.

I'm not normally one to promote other things, and this 'may' be classed as SPAM, but it's something I'm looking forward to anyway....

Ok... I know EVERYONE has a mobile phone these days, so I thought I'd ask.

I currently have a Sony Ericsson K800i (still worth £25 according to envirophone)

When I last renewed my contact, I got a Nokia Luna (did anyone actually have one of these lol, I only got it to trade on Envirophone, with the Argos vouchers, I borught a new TV LOL)

Anyway... back on topic.

My contract is running out in a month, I've been looking at direct places like O2, Vodafone etc, even E2save (where I normally go), however, since the days of the Nokia N95, I've not really been in touch with the market, so I don't know what is good and what isn't.

Anyone have any ideas what is a decent phone nowadays, I'll have a look at all recommendations.

I don't mind too much about the Camera, and it's gotta be sensible please as I don't want to spend more that £20 £25 on the actual contract, so none of these... the Blackberry 9000 etc as I don't want to pay for the phone, or get it free on a £75 a month contact etc.

So... you think you're good at noughts and crosses... well... we'll see.

Well, it's not like me to post a thread about winning, and I don't condone this sort of thing at all, however, why not since others are lol.

Basically, I play Omaha, preferably Hi Lo. I hardly ever play for cash as people get greedy.

As I'm off at the moment, I thought I'd put a few pennies into Ladrokes poker.

Unfortunately, there is never anyone playing Omaha during the day, so I thought I'd have a go at Texas Holdem, never liked the game, too much based on chance rather than skill... so I thought. After turning my US$16 dollars into $168, I thought... why not try a tournament (since I kept getting popups telling me that a new $5 tournament was starting in 5 minutes...)

Anyway... long story short, I didn't win, and even if I came first I wouldn't have won more that the $168 I'd already won, but... TBH for my first ever tournament, I don't think I done that bad.

Anyone else play tournaments online? If you're planning on trying it, to get where I did took me over 2 1/2 hours, so don't think it's a quick way to make money.
