You should be able to test those tube level switches in test, (they are called 3cld switches AFAIR)
Either in switch test or coin test,
on older machines in switch test the level sensors might not make a 'beep' but it might light a bulb
Give it a go you got nowt to loose,
And IIRC the white connectors with 3 pins that attach to the switch - used to be a right pain - dirt/grim would build up on the pins so it might be worth disconnecting one at a time and cleaning the pins
Just be careful not to break any of the pins when reconnecting!

in the manual it refers to the tubes as front, centre and rear, is this looking from the back of the machine or the front! (guessing its the back)
In the manual its says the rear tube should fill first (in my picture hopper1 ?) then centre (in my picture hopper 2?) then front ( hopper 3?)
