I dont know a lot about fruit machines, I play skill machines. And I happen to have knowledge about this one. You can choose to believe what you like. I only joined this forum yesterday and posted on a topic I know something about.
And yes I am a programmer but didnt program this game, but do know the guy personally.
The guy who started this topic asked me some questions I answered him privately, thats all.

Yes, the agreed amount being equal to the percentage payout. Undoubtedly there will be drift, but ultimately, over enough games, there will be a 30% payout.

How can you possibly know that, unless you are the programmer / actuary who devised the gameplay - well are you?

I admit you will get a higher percentage of the payout if you are more skillful than the other players of the same machine, but the percentage you will be getting a higher share of is 30%, not 47% - see above

See title of this thread - I don't think it was particularly helpful of you to do that. End of the day this machine pays out £3 for every £10 put in it, which is a f*****g terrible return. No-one should ever play them, they are completely rigged, end of.

It pays 47%......No drift except for the slight changes between wins relative to the total play.
I know the guy who programmed this machine among others.

And yep even 47% is a terrible return but unlike a fruit they are not random or at least shouldn't be....

Skillball as it's known now is one of the very few machines that already conforms to the new HMRC guildlines one of which is the removal of the "Bingo" bit.
For this reason all skillball bingo's have been taken from terminal games.
All the other manufacturers will have to follow suit very shortly.

People should play Skill games for enjoyment first and foremost. I am merely pointing out that there is still an edge to be had.

Sorry guys 30% is just an agreed amount, as is the max prize level. And I know for a fact the SBB pays 47%. And if my reaction time is faster than others then I'm the one who gets the majority of that 47%.....
If you good I will post the tips I sent to mictas_1 for you all to read :jiggy:

Actually quite enjoyed playing it on the PC, obviously total con... I was after a couple of numbers and the machine was like totally stalling, 3 or 4 seconds for a number to pop up... I mean these wheren't ever going to be skill based machines they are there to make money while offering 5 mins of entertainment.

I was in a big family entertainment centre a few weeks back and they had loads of these, all occupied... so they must do ok in the arcades.

I imagine that they are pretty addictive once you get involved.

I'm an Expert on this machine :spinny: ....but I do have some insider knowledge from a friend of mine.... Still loads of these in Blackpool too!
