Name of 90's machine - chase type feature in small cabinet?

14 December 2020 - 11:42 PM

Hi all,

I'm trying to figure out the name of a machine I remember from the late 90's that had a Andy Capp-like chase feature.  This is a long shot because I don't remember much, but everyone I seen, it wasn't a full-sized cabinet (it was always mounted) and the characters were a fury animal of sort, maybe a coyote or a woodpecker(?).  I think to get the feature you had to get symbols that added to a trail, but it could've also been 3 x symbols on winline to enter.   I also get the feeling from the styling it wasn't a big manufacturer like Barcrest or JPM but again, I could be wrong.

Like I said I know this is a long shot, but it's driving me crazy just not knowing its name to see if its emulated.  Any help appreciated.

Cheers

Blackpool Amusements - older machines?

26 February 2014 - 08:17 PM

Hi all,

I haven't visited Blackpool for a good 11/12 years and just wondered if anyone local/been recently know of any arcades that have older machines in the vein of Andy Capp, Hyper Viper, Winner Takes it All etc? Coastal resorts around here have none of the sort, but with the plethora amusements in Blackpool I wondered if any housed any of these oldies?

Thanks in advance

25p/50p/£1 - Same game/payout percentage?

01 February 2014 - 12:11 AM

Hi all,

A quick question which has always caused a discussion or two between friends/staff/neighbouring players.

On multistake machines e.g. Money Mad Martians, does the machine play on the same percentage over the three different stakes, or separate percentages for each stake?

I've personally always argued they played off the same percentage, that just because someone won £140 on £1 stake and a few presses later another £70 was won on 25p stake is merely a coincidence - but I've had one 'engineer' argue otherwise.  Any definitive answer?

Cheers.

For Sale: Monopoly Hot Property (£70)

30 August 2013 - 05:47 PM

Hi all,

I'm selling my Monopoly Hot Property (25p/50p £70 Jackpot) currently unloved in the garage.

It's in good condition, a few scuff marks around the side as a result of getting it in and out the house, but nothing too drastic.

It's in fully working order, manual, keys, decals for £35 setting (including mirrored strip) and there's a bag of spare bulbs.

I'm looking for around £150.  I live in Hartlepool and ideally looking for the buyer to pick up, but I might be able to get access to a van to delivery locally for an extra £20.

Cheers.

Table top style Fruit Machine?

23 July 2013 - 07:53 PM

Hey all,

It's been a while since I've visited and in that time my knowledge has deteriorated somewhat.  But I'm looking to buy a table top style fruit machine (need to get rid of my Monopoly Hot Property when we move and downsize) but I cant remember the terminology to search for them online.  Is it Rio or something?  I can't actually name any machines of this style for a reference, possibly Red Hot Roll but I'm not too sure?

Cheers in advance
