In Topic: Scorpion 4 % Payout

Well I looked at the dils based on the pic of switches 13-16 and it was set to 98%!! No wonder!! I have reset it to 70% and have just played out a tenner in five minutes, still plenty of gameplay with features, viva mexico etc just doesnt let me win more than a couple of quid which is just how I want it, Thanks guys!! :-)

You might find 70% a bit tight, quite a few clubs seem to use 72% > 78% (with 72% being the most common I see around here), and when my new clubber comes next week, I'll probably set it to 84% - totally up to you though :)

total numpty question but how do i hopper dump it? i know almost everything on this apart from that lol

I don't know if your machine has one or two hopper dump switches, hopefully it's just one. Anyway, look inside the bottom of the machine, probably around the cashboxes, for a button. You need to have the machine on, the bottom door open. Once the machine has booted up, insert and turn the refill key, then press the hopper dump button (it might also be labelled 'dump float' or similar). Hopefully it'll then say something about dumping the float on the display, and I think you just press the start button after.

realise what was wrong lol where i played the 250 through to fill the hopper i won 200 and left it in the bank, so when that was in the bank the machine kept putting them in the hopper for some reason lol it obviously thought for some unknown reason it was 200 short :/

I was thinking about that myself, Red Gaming machines used to do that but I didn't realise normal Barcrest games did as well! :)

In Topic: ALARM 1992 00.00.01 TAMPER CHECK - 75 ....any ideas?

the 92 pic inlld err how do you stop that from sounding the alarm ?

I'd imagine you got this error because the PIC chip in the machine doesn't match the software on the game card.

Did you buy a machine and try and change the software? Was it bought as faulty? Or has this error just started happening for no reason?
