I am finally going to take the plunge and buy or start an AGC (something I have longed to do but never had the chance until now!) in the midlands area - however, only really being a player of B3 and AWP Hi-tech I need some help on what other machines I should put in from a wider perspective.
Of course the 4 x B3 including big popular names seen everywhere such as Barcrest Triple 7 (Rainbow Riches/Monty Python etc.) /Astra Party Slots/CMS Chameleon is fine but what about the Cat C and Cat D and any other machines?
If you could get say 20 machines in (excluding the Cat B3 £500 jackpots), what would you go for and what mix?
I was thinking about 5 x £35 jackpots, 5 x £25 and then a selection of Cat D/classics including what seem to be popular the Electrocoin OXO (never got them myself but what do you think?)??
What about the multi-player machines, I always find unless you are in massive seaside arcades on a busy day they are dead?? Are they no good unless others are on them and lots of people what do you think?
Any help/opinions appreciated on the entire topic of adults only AGC with fruties/slots and assume no family stuff/video games/pushers etc. :-) particularly Nails if you get chance to reply having "been there and got the t-shirt" thanks in advance!
Please PM me if you prefer no problems.

Barcrest Flash Cash (the original 90's machine!)
20 December 2006 - 07:40 AM
Hi all,
Just purchased a nice old Barcrest Flash Cash fruit machine. Although it works and accepts coins, it does not pay out - it just makes the sound of a relay "clicking" as it counts the 10p's it should be paying.
I can only assume its the solenoid payout mech but neither the 10p or token payouts work, both just click. If it is can they still be sought/purchased?
There is no guide with the machine and being an older machine I have no idea how all the tests work, can anyone help or anyone got information on how you test the payouts and bulbs and general test routines? Also be helpful if I knew how to set the volume etc. on the older Barcrest machines (MPU4). All I can do is press a button in the back to go into free play test!
I intend to lovingly restore this great classic so any help apreciated on the problems.
Thanks! Martin

Club Gold Digger

Anyone know this machine (Club Gold Digger from Bell Fruit) ?
I fancy buying a club machine and this is going quite cheap now its done the rounds for 3 years so I am tempted to buy it.
I think its about 3 years old now.
I would appreciate any views from anyone on who has played, or knows, this club machine GOOD OR BAD - thanks !!

LOTR Return of the king reelbands?
21 August 2005 - 03:47 PM
Hi all,
Just got my latest fruit machine, Bell Fruit LORD OF THE RINGS "return of the king", and noticed the reelbands are in quite bad condition (reel 1 and reel 3 are dented and have a small tear/hole).
Can anyone sell me a set of reelbands for return of the king or point me to someone/a company who would be prepared to sell me a set?
I assume you can still get spares for this machine as its only a 2004 build?
Anyone know how much they are (after all they're only plastic strips you stick on?)?
Thanks! Martin
