I know this is an old discussion but i am trying to do this and have the same issue. Does anyone know what file i need to modify as i have only one drive and no backup. Cannot source the same model drive and although i have a clone on a ssd it obviously does not boot. (mpu6 if that helps)

I have similar issue at the moment on a simpsons, I thought it could be lamp board or main board but i swapped alpha with a known working one and it works fine so i know the alphas can die. Also VERY hard to get hold of. I was looking for a replacement but can not find one. Hoping a similar model has the parts i need to swap components over and hopefully fix my faulty one (16LF01UA4 i think).

Well it's not that hard to setup a different email, DOB and username.

The IP address was VERY UNIQUE.

But why would i do that? Not everybody is out to make multiple accounts you know... Its pretty easy to see the username i have on here is the same username i tried to make an account with. And it IS POSSIBLE that 2 people from the same work place have an interest in old fruits. Anyway it doesn't matter, like i said above i had given up trying to register i was just stating that i had issues when trying to do so

This is simply not true from what I am seeing.

You did have a perfectly good working account and you posted to the New Members area and got the required rep to be in before you made a duplicate account this week.

 

We also have a no under 18 policy and both those accounts have DIFFERENT birthdays.

Sorry but Pappy46 is not me. There is another person at my work place that also likes playing the fruits (and knows about emulation because of me). That is why there is a different date of birth, a different username and a different email address?

The last year has been a bit difficult due to a change of admin.

 

Try your internet providers email or Yahoo, which I signed up through.

 

I'd imagine work emails won't work, because they are a way to create duplicate accounts via work and home emails.

Yeah i suppose that makes sense
