Fire Cracker

10 May 2011 - 06:36 AM

I was wondering if someone could help me. I recently purchased a BFM Fire Cracker, 10p play £2 jackpot. I made the rash decision to put it straight on eBay as in need of a few £££'s.......but I'm now in 2 minds, as I've just sold virtually all my early nineties machines and kinda think this is one to keep hold of (still need a few quid mind you).
I suppose what I want to know is, do anyone know the value of these, I appreciate it would vary depending on condition etc, but let's just say a mint condition one. I'm not going to remove my listing as re list at the higher price or lower price, but I may just remove the listing and appreciate it....as I never got the nudgers in the day, I know in the arcade where she come from, she was played constantly....I'm very surprised that she is as good of condition that she is....I worked out by looking at the counters that assuming the machine was 10p play for the life of her so far, the machine has taken over £50,000 in takings....not bad for 1 machine.
Thank you for any help.

Party Time Arena Help

01 May 2011 - 10:35 PM

I've got 3 questions if I may......
.....if I want to change the jp do I have to change all four, or can I have 2 @ £5 jp & 2 @ £25, as put in a jp key in player 1 and whatever setting I put it on, even the original 10p/£5 jp, the invalid jp key alarm kept going off, so I've just pit the original key back in.

I want to take the balloon glass off to re bulb, but there are 2 screws at the bottom of the baloon holder which look like they go into the back of the machine....which when you look on the inside is covered by I think another piece of wood....I know I could possibly remove this, but does anyone know if those 2 screws are bolted or if they just screw into the machine (hope that makes sense) what I suppost I mean is, I don't want to remove them, lose the bolts and then have to remove the cover.
And finally....does anyone have a reel sensor for sale from an astra fruit machine?
Any help would be appreciated....Ive recently upgraded (if you can call it that) from 7 Barcrest early 90's classics to this....starting to think I made the wrong choice!!!!

Monopoly 60th Anniversary Glass Help

14 March 2011 - 11:35 AM

I recently had to put my machines in storage....all are fine...except monopoly 60th anniversary...the artwork which I can only assume due to the cold damp weather has bubbled. You'd think I'd learn my lesson as it's happened twice now!!! I do blame my wife as she wanted them stored while she re arranged our very small house!
I suppose what I'm asking for is a little help, I don't want to buy another machine if I don't have to, but I would like to get hold of some jpm glass for this machine, but cannot find any, anywhere. Please could someone point me in the right direction?
I hate looking at this machine as it literally is bubbled everywhere.
