BWB Clown In Around emulation query
18 August 2009 - 12:34 AM
I tried the "method" on this, and it didn't work. However, having never done one in real life, I'm not sure I did it quite right. Does it work on this emulation? (20p a go, £15 jackpot)
Searching for JPM - Casino Las Vegas layout
08 April 2006 - 04:58 AM
I have been searching for a JPM - Casino Las Vegas layout, and have been unsuccessful. My attempts to find it have led me to believe that Steveir released a layout for it some time ago, but I am unable to track it down. Does anyone know where I can find a layout for this?
Or, if not, does anyone know where I can obtain the ROMs for it? Then I can start making a layout for it!
Thanks for your help in advance.

Name old PCP - early Wild Thing!
12 March 2006 - 03:52 PM
Can anyone help me with the name of this old PCP machine. It had a WILD symbol on the right reel, which awarded a bonus if it landed on the line during reel play. When you got on the board, or got a win, sometimes it would play a little jingle and the third reel would spin round slowly, and if you stopped the WILD in view it would advance up the board or win plan by one step. It would then either give a faster go or allow a turbo gamble. One of the features (Skill Cash I think) was also a Wild Thing, where the maximum win was 50p. The machine itself was 2p, £2 jackpot. It had a fruit matrix of 4 rows, 3 columns, and each line was a nudge, I think, if I remember correctly. Sometimes once you got a line, the word "EXTRA" would light up by the matrix and you'd then get free spins to try to fill the rest of the matrix before it went on the board. I remember it was great fun to play - once I got up with JP on a diagonal line, therefore needing 2 nudges (as they were up and down), and it gave me an exchange (skill pick a trail), so I picked nudges, and it showed £1 at the top for some reason, can't remember whether the lights weren't working properly or not, but anyway, collected and it autonudged in the jackpot! I used to love that Wild Thing feature - showing off to the others in the arcade when I was about 15!
Big Banker (JPM) - semi dead battery?
12 March 2006 - 03:08 PM
I've noticed something weird going on with this machine - sort of like a dead battery, but not a dead battery because it remembers your bank and credits! This is what happens. Upon turning the machine on (starting it up in the emulator, or resetting it), it is numbering (Ace, King and 2 on both sides) to show it has at least one jackpot's worth of value in it. Actually it takes about 4 or 5 jackpots to kill the machine and make it stop numbering. However, once you have killed the numbers, if you reset the machine it then starts numbering again, and has another 4 or 5 jackpots' worth of value in it! This would normally indicate a dead battery, but if you have a bank and credits, these are remembered, and the On-Off alarm sounds. Very strange!
Does anyone know why this happens? This would make it emptiable, wouldn't it - simply reset it every time you kill the numbers and you can empty it! I think that if you tried forcing it back to life again after killing it like this, having reset it a few times, it would cost a lot of money as it then wants the extra money back that you've taken out. Not sure though as I haven't tried this extensively. Has anyone else noticed this, or similar occurrences? Why does this machine do this?

Rocket Money emptier, also Crystal Maze / Dome
28 February 2006 - 04:03 AM
Hi there. I am interested in trying out the Rocket Money emptier, and the similar Crystal Maze / Dome emptiers on the emulator. I'm not sure whether there was a chip, and if so, whether the versions emulated are chipped, but it's basically a power off trick, but I don't know the exact details. I think you're meant to turn the machine off during the Streak (Rocket Money) or while a win is banking up from the end game on CD and CM, but I'm not sure. Can anyone tell me the correct way to do it, and whether it works on the emulator? I know you can quick reset the machine with Ctrl-R on MFME 2.0 so it can be tried out! Anyway, what is meant to happen is this - on RM next board lands on all the Streaks one after another, giving the top streak, and you can repeat the method until empty. The Crystal Dome and Maze machines land on all the crystals one by one, so it is a very similar trick!
Did anyone actually empty any of these, when they were out, years ago? How exactly was it done?
