basically you didnt have the notey parred with the machine, moving the dips allowed the machine to talk with the notey and par it. job done.

All the guides on the forums I've seen say you need only dip 6 up but apparently it only works if the ccTalk dip is up too (7)

Quick update - if I disconnect the note acceptor the machine works fine with cash. The note acceptor is showing green lights when connected but pay alarm sounds - is this a faulty note connector or is the machine configured incorrectly?

Fixed it I think. Looks like the note acceptor dip switches were set incorrectly.

It's a Money Control Lumina and you need dip switch 6 & 7 up to reset it.

Bit long winded but it works:

Unplug unit
Dip switch 6&7 on
Plug in
Machine on
Wait 15 seconds
Dip switch 6 down
Reboot machine
Open top cabinet
When Read Meters appears press cancel
Press Test + Grey button on Eclipse main board
In menu select 1.5 BNV Test
Enter the encryption code printed on the top of the unit
Should say 'Key Valid'
You're good to go

Hi,

I've just bought a Global Gaming Warped Fruity.

It's working 100% fine in demo mode with cash door open.

Problem is when cash door is closed it won't take money (coin drops straight through, doesn't increment balance after note is inserted)

On bootup I get the following:

Coin Mech ?????
Hopper ?????
BNV ?????

I've checked the manual for the coin mech (Money Control sr5i) and as far as I can tell it's functioning OK, green LED on rear is solid.
The note reader also seems fine as it accepts notes without any fuss.
I don't know how to check the hopper.

Error log shows ERR 1 = 0.1 PAY ALARM

Any help would be appreciated or even a recommendation of a repair engineer close to Banbury.

thanks
