In Topic: The most you have won on a £500 jackpot in one day?

These fruities surely have to be the thing of the future. I for one have all but given up on the £35 j/p machines. They kinda don't bring the adrenalin rush you get when the wins come as on the more expensive machines. Just means you need a thicker-lined wallet...

Club machines in arcades? Maybe this'll provide a solution to the stodgy, unfriendly, bland 35-ers and bring back some character to machines we all loved to play.

And the latest 500 machines at £1 a go? It is possible to get a couple of jacks in succession, I agree, have had that myself on Casino Riches @ £2 stake before it was demoted to £1, and a couple of serious bonuses out of the roulette feature. £1200 in all.

Anyone come across an all bar-X 500-er, 5 lines and a "free win spins" feature for minimum 3 of a kind lined up? Has it ever paid anything to anyone? Never been able to turn it on with this evil machine and it has the most annoying music when you get a win in...

Main arcade in Banbury shopping street - early 90s - what a haven of orgasmic machines, including the late and great FIREBALL with its multiple £4.80 token repeats on the three FIREBALL symbols. Best day ever was a bucketload of tokens after fireball went mental. maybe £60 worth. I felt very rich, and was able to use at other Quiksilver places in London to make some decent cash.

My all-time favourite machines:

1. Viva Las Vegas £6 early 90s - my all-time favourite, with the casino board the reward for escaping all those ? marks
2. Roadhog £6 early 90s
3. Caesar's Palace £15 - the best rapid fire ACE machine that was on the market late 90s. Unbeatable fun, but could be very expensive if feeling mean.
4. Wicked Willy £10 (Astra late 90s GREAT FUN)
5. aLADDIN'S cAVE £15 and related machines late 90s
6. Labyrinth £6 token with its fabulous board and spooky music
7. JPM Big Wheel when converted to £10 late 90s
8. JPM Snakes and Ladders when converted to £15 late 90s
9. 7 Heaven £4.80 token early 90s
10. Cloud 9 £4.80 and related machines. Beautiful streaks for those patient enough to wait.

Ahhhh, those were the days.....
