I cant belive know one has mentioned the old Pension Eaters BAR X (in any form) - Ive probably wasted more in them with the odd £20 here and there than any other machine. Not to mention the odd £100 spend out for the jackpot hold for £50 that for some reason leaves you feeling greatfull even though your fifty down.
Yep. Defo BAR X for me!
No feature machine is ever as bad as a low tech that wont even give you the option of a £20 buy out after a ton. YUK

I know a trick on this one, when the buttons flash quickly press them and the reels will either stick (if this happens three times you win money!) or move down, sometimes this also wins you money. Not many ppl know this so dont tell no one! Also £15 m8!!! Ive never heard of anyone spending that much in a fruity to get jackpot.

Slightly diverging from the post, but keeping true to the topic:
Just seen a Fortune £2000 on ebay:
LOTTERY FORTUNE £2000 FRUIT MACHINE ** £2000 PAYOUT** - eBay Fruit Machines, Coin-Operated, Video Games (end time 20-Sep-07 09:38:24 BST)
Ive never played an AWP with a JP beyond £250 (well £500 if we include s16).... well actually I used to play a club on £500 in my local casino (untill they knocked the place down from the inside and filled it with chrome bars and nothing but f*****g roullete machines and IGT slots).
anyway...
anyone play a £2k JP Fruit Machine? Must play so slow! I remember playing the Thunderbirds club that someone emulated years ago on £1k JP (I think) 50p play... that was slow, played it for about 20 hours over a few nights, didnt get close to the JP.

Finally got in the bookies this weekend (funny, used to have the opposite problem).
Went into Coral on Nails advice. Started with a bit of Joker Poker - found it a bit klunky (graphic wise) when compared with Joker Poker plus etc. Did about 20 in it for a bank of £25.
Go bored and decided to see what else was on offer.
Settled on (shit whats it called? little help) Crown gems/jewles? Played it on 20p stake, had some time to kill wanted lengthy play - managed to stack up a bank of £75 within about 20 mins - thanks to an almost full screen of red gems and several sets of 3 crowns.
Nothing drastic but my first experience of bookies new slots was a posotive one.
Anyone else got wins/losses to report on these?
I also see that william hill is introducing a game based on texas holdem (aswell as blackjack) to their machines! could be fun.
