Hello
I have just returned from my local pub after playing one of the Elvis fruit machines (the two screen 9 line one).
I got very excited to get on the game and gambled to £12 and got given the option of 3 guitars bonus. I took this and watched the figures rise.
The first guitar got to £2.10 and the second guitar just kept going.
The landlord decided when the 2nd Guitar had reached nearlly £25000 (thats twenty five thousand pounds) to switch off the machine and reboot only to be left with nothing, In fairness the landlord honured the orginal £12 win but I feel that this is a little unfair.
I have played this machine for a long time and on many occassions seen the jackpot of £25 come in at least 5 times on the run maybe more and I think that its unfair for me not to get this.
I understand that software can have glitches but if the machine is telling me it owes a lot of money and I get nothing this is very unfair.
I have witnesses at the pub and plenty of photographic evidence and would like some sort of compensation.
The machine is supplied by barcrest.
Am I out of luck or should they honour a more profitable win, whats the legal implications of this, everyone tells me I should go to the papers. Am i being daft and fighting a losing battle.
Please advise and help guys.
