Hey all,
Just bought a new note acceptor for a money changing machine (coin hopper). The old one was a NV4 and i got a NV5.
It was plug and play but still it didn't work properly with the notes (gave 10euro change for a 20euro note).
Now i know that it can be configured with the software that i have installed on my pc, just need to plug it in with a RS323 cable as explained here:

After doing all that it doesn't work.
Can somebody explain me in a detailed way how to hook this NV5 to my computer without original accessories?
I can post pics when im at work if needed.
