Now, as suggested above, conduct a hopper dump. Doesn't matter if the machine has no money in it, when the dump is complete, the machine will alter its logs and will say "SHORT BY £xxx" Meaning it's realised that it needs £xxx to become full. Easy enough for one of us to see if it's an empty hopper, we have eyes and a brain. The machine needs a little kick up the arse to realise though lol

I'm guessing what happened before you got the machine, is that it WAS full, but the fella just removed all the coins by hand, which the machine doesn't register obviously.

Yeah sorry about my other post though my original post didn't work .....and all that you just said I will need help going though it because I haven't a clue what I'm doing lol

I havent properly worked with fruit machines since 1999 but what we used to do is clear the ram with a pair of pliers on the battery on the motherboard.
With the machine unplugged hold pliers on both sides of battery for about 4 seconds, turn machine back on the ram will be cleared.
Hopper will think its empty, refill with refill key.

Is this safe ?? Will the machine still work if I tamper with the motherboard??
