Hi all,
After a lot of tedious hassle, have now got the complete set of working roms from the repro, although it took a bit of cross referencing, for Cashanova. Working on the DX and the Classic as we speak. Only thing that I could REALLY do with is the reels if anyone can provide me any info on them. Hoping to have the classic ready within a week or so. I have the artwork for the DX, but it's just the lamping and the reels that are holding me up.
On another little note, does anybody yet know anything about the later Mazooma machines that have an extra reel that isn't a reel in the normal sense? Bankety Bank is a good example, check the middle of the top glass. Is there a way to emulate reels like these?
Will keep everyone posted.

First DX, Stuck Already

Ok, I'm probably being really thick here, but....
I have a set of scorp 4 roms, fresh from the repro. But I cannot seem to get them to startup in a blank.dat layout? I have tried the obvious stuff, and the sound rom was no issue, but there are two main rom files .odd and .evn, which I renamed to .hi and .lo after looking at some other previous conversions. Either way I cannot get them to actually run, and they don't show up on the debug screen. Also how the hell do I create a RAM file? Layout design will be the easy bit once I get the damn roms to actually run in the blank template! Would really appreciate some help from the experts here.

I have been offered f.o.c. a "STAR MATCH" fruit machine (£75J/5p). Thing is, before I travel off to check it out, I was hoping somebody could tell me who makes it, and how old it is, as I have never heard of it, and cannot find anything on the net.

Hi there, I have in my workshop at the moment a Maygay Spectre £5J, 10p Play machine, that I have just finished rebuilding and repairing. I would love to make a classic and a DX of this, as I can scan the glass etc before I part with the unit.
Does anybody out there have the roms for this machine? (software not physical!) Also is it possible to emulate, as the board is an epoch (yuk!) mainboard?
Any help would be appreciated, as its not a bad machine, and would be fun to do.

Coin Error 11 / 13

Hi guys,
I must be doing something wrong.... I have about 80 dx's downloaded, and most of them are fine, but everytime I download a machine that has system 5 or impact roms, I get regular coin or token errors 11 and 13. Nothing seems to resolve this, and it doesn't seem to matter what version of mfme I run.
Am I doing something blindingly stupid, or is this a royal pain in the arse for everyone?
OH and I HAVE read the knowledgebase article 10002 about changing the delay speed which makes no odds at all, and only slows the machine down.
