QPS Red Dragon - Question

30 December 2005 - 06:13 PM

Hello all,

I have played this machine a few times now and quite enjoy the gameplay and have won a fair few quid. I have managed to get the three rings shaped objects that near the dragons head fully lit but haven't work out what they do. They don't give an extra life or IM and do not trigger the super board. Just wondering what they do as each time I have lit all three it hasn't appeared to alter anything....

Help needed with buying a machine

16 January 2005 - 02:21 PM

Hello all,

I have been thinking about buying a fruit machine, preferably a £25 AWP for the last few months. Apart from getting the thing to my house (I gather they are very heavy) how easy are fruit machines to service, etc?

I like to think of myself as fairly technically minded but don't want to lumber myself with something I won't have a clue how to fix/set when something goes wrong. Are most relevant things covered in the owners manual??

Have I got a problem?

I put 10p in the coffee machine at work today and when it dropped to the bottom of the machine for a second I thought it was ready to pay out. (I'm half serious too!) - I started wondering if the machine had a hopper fitted. Boring fridays eh?! :D

Winning on fruities. Skill, luck or sharking?

07 July 2004 - 09:58 PM

Having played machines for a fair few years - to a lesser extent nowadays I have come to one conclusion. The people that profit most from machines are either clueless souls who push blindly at the buttons and walk away with £50 from a pound or outright sharks who watch you lose all your hard earned and step in after you leave.

'Back in the days' when I was playing machines like 777th heaven and Cloud 999 it seemed I could win with a bit of skill and good judgment. OK, I still took (small) losses, but it seemed I had to rely less on pure luck to win and didn't have to look over my shoulder for the next 'non playing arcade parasite'

Have times really changed so much or is it just me? Seems all this is a product of the streak culture manufacturers have created and the amount of money you have to put in to even get decent gameplay and/or win.
