All a good read Nick, sounds like some good progress has been made.

You mentioned MMM tech  -  I have an MMM machine here if it's any use when the time comes.   It was fully working until recently but it seems to have developed what I think is a board fault recently.

On Maygays Fruit Explosion , ive never seen the 'slider' on the fruit preserve square ?

Neither have I - and I've never seen it land on the 'Skill Fruit' square either. Plus, on the emulated version, I've never seen a Jackpot or Super Jackpot - and mine's down to 8% now.

Oh. Sounds like there's a new, new line-up then. The one I was talking about came a year or so ago from Red Gaming.

The one you mention sounds *awful* -Line Up without exchanges? Yuk.

Ummm... not sure I'm really with you there, Ady, especially with regard to 'features' as Line Up didn't really have any. On Red's new version, exchanges are available exactly as on the original Line Up, either from cash to nudges or nudges to cash.

I remember the original well and I think that Red's version is a pretty good attempt at recreating it. In fact, I only saw one of these for the first time on Sunday in an arcade in Leysdown(!).

I only had time to put about £2 through it (which lasted 10 minutes or so). The only significant thing I noticed different from the original is that the new version auto-holds if you have the right numbers to reach a win. Some of the sounds were slightly different, and of course there's the £5 JP which you can gamble to. The original Line Up had a £2 JP, then 'Super Line Up' had a £3 JP -but you couldn't get to this from the board. The highest gamble there was from £1.50 up to £2 - you couldn't gamble from £2 to £3.
