Are the fuses making good contact inside the PSU? I know old MPU4 PSU's black fuse holders can be a problem sometimes. Does sound PSU related if you've swapped out the MPU4 for another board and exactly the same issues.

It's been a while since I last worked on an MPU4 machine so my memory is a bit rusty

What coin mech have you got? If you have a cashflow parallel coin mech (the mech will have 16 pins in one line) then I can send you a wiring diagram i drew to use your coin mech with your cabinet. Does require an ipac (or similar device) and a 12v power source.

Your mech will then work properly and accept coins. You then tell the ipac which keyboard shortcut to use for each coin type.

P.s I made my cabinet a few years ago with full working coin entry and hopper payouts

P.p.s mfme can be setup with a pacdrive and ipac to payout directly from the emulator exactly when you hit collect on the machines. My first build did what yours does and reads MFME memory etc. The new way is much better but requires a fair bit of setting for each machine

Hi Luuk, many people have created their own fruit-machine cabinets.

You are better registering at http://www.desertislandfruits.com/ and posting here: http://www.desertisl...binet-building/

as this forum has a much more active users who can help you with your project and it would be sad to see another user go elsewhere through lack of responses.

But to answer your question, MFME 19 (Download from DesertIslandFruits) does support IPAC and pacdrive and can drive your lights and buttons.

Good luck, I have built my own too and its great fun.

That light is just an indicator light that flashes when you put a coin in. The amount of flashes is telling you whether the coin was accepted or not (and if not, why not) it is solid lid when doing nothing as it is a power indicator too
