Hi all,

 

I recently set up some SWP games on my arcade cab. I'm loving playing them - I'm using indie_sim which puts in a standard £40 float to play around with.

 

They are (nearly) all working and I'm a massive fan of 1 vs 100 (although that one crashes when you win for some reason).

 

I recently found out that there's a lot of other SWP games out there but I can't seem to find them. I've heard tell of Cliff's repro which seems to be consigned to the annals of history so I wondered if anyone on here has currently got other games (Paragon / Games Warehouse / IT Box) working?

 

I've got a list of games below - I've also managed to find The Chase but can't work out how to put credit into it?

I've been having a play around with the excellent Tornado DX (BFM - Adder 5) that Dave (Pook) did based on the classic by Westy20040.

 

I just wondered if anyone knows of any others of this type that have been converted to a DX for MFME?

 

I've been quite enjoying the game as it's such a difference to the normal kind of fruity I'd play so it would be good to have a look at other examples.

 

I'm just not sure what to search for on the site? Or if they are in their own category somewhere? Or maybe there aren't any more because there isn't the demand?

I was just thinking the other day whether there were ever any machines produced that used the actual "odds" in order to make sure that the punter lost overall but played perfectly legitimately.

In other words, it was pure chance whether you spun a win in or not and there was enough combinations on the reels to ensure that the machine still won overall?

Or would such a machine not be legally allowed as (ironically), without "fixing" the wins, it couldn't guarantee to comply with the law that enforces a certain percentage payout?

Hi all

The volume of the fruit machines I have been playing on varies greatly and I wondered if there was a way of setting them all to 'max' volume and then I could just adjust my PC playing volume to suit?

Is this something that needs to be done individually for each machine? Or is there a setting that can be added to the .gam file or something in order to control this?

I wondered if anyone can help identify an old fruit machine I used to play on.

It was in 1991 - 1992 and it was a £100 jackpot and had 4 reels.

My memories of it are a bit fragmented but I seem to remember it had all the symbols from the reels somewhere on the machine (maybe under the reels) and as the reels spun in those symbols they would light up and the goal was get all of them lit.

I also remember that 4 bells was £50 but there was another prize of £100 but I can't remember what you needed for that.

There was a high/low function on it with a number 1 - 12.

I realise that is not very much to go on and someone from back in day told me that they thought it was Crazy Fruits or a Barcrest machine so I'm going to do some research on that but from a quick Google it doesn't seem to be Crazy Fruits (or certainly not the versions that I've seen at the moment but it might be a variation that I've not seen yet).

I've not done any research on the Barcrest info.

I'm at work at the moment so can't look for it but will be looking later when I get home. I just thought I would post on the off chance that someone here has any thoughts on what machine this could be?
