Hi and welcome to the site! Use winrar to extract files!!
Firstly you'll need to download the emulator to run the layouts on, if it's mfme you'll need mfme 5.1 which is the latest and most up to date emulator, make a folder on your desktop titled "fruit machines" this is where you can place All files including mfme into.

Next once you've installed it on your computer,you'll need a game/layout.
Download as you did with mfme, most layouts when downloaded will be in a brown folder usually titled with the machine name, if so simply extract them to the "fruit machine" folder.
Some layouts are uploaded in basic form, as in the files are Not in a brown folder, in this case you'll need to make a folder into your desktop and rename it to whatever the machine you're downloading, then extract the files to there before moving to your fruit machine folder

Hi I'm a newbie attempting my first download. What program do I need to use to run the game please?

Also, when I click download it appears as various files. Which one do I select?
