Hello Tom,
How did you get on with the machine? Did you get it working? Still got it?

I aquired several non-working Summit machines last year and thanks to help from several members over at the Mecca, they are all now working. I spent hours overhauling the circuit boards in them and have developed quite a fondness for these old and unusual machines. I would be very interested to see any photos you may have of the machine ...

I just did a Google search for Summit Coin in the interests of finding details of more machines and this thread popped up, hence the long delay in replying!

I see you havn't posted much here and may not visit this forum regularly so if anyone else knows Tom ('Sammy'), please draw his attention to this post and ask him to get in touch ... acidjunkee@hotmail.co.uk

Cheers,
paul

In Topic: Where can I get a Barcrest MPU5 Service Manual

25 August 2008 - 01:14 PM

if anyone needs help with field manuals i have most mpu manuals and also manuals for many other amusement machines all in pdf

Yes please! I have the general Barcrest MPU4 service manual but if you have any specialist info relating to Top Gears I'm sure it will be very useful. Also Supaslot (Barcrest MPU4) and Stop-A-Fruit, a CTL rebuild of a Bouncer/Step-A-Round (JPM System80) would be great (don't have the latter yet but hoping one will come my way)

Cheers,
Paul
